Crispy Superbowl Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

  • Bell & Evans Air Chilled Chicken Wings
  • 365 Baking Powder
  • 365 Coarse Sea Salt
  • Goodflow Honey Texas Wildflower Raw
  • Yamasa Soy Sauce
  • Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter Unsalted
  • Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce

Instructions

  1. Sift equal parts baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl.[2m]
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine equal parts warmed honey and soy sauce.[2m]
  3. Throughly pat dry wings. Cover wings in the dry mixture, followed by the wet mixture.[5m]
  4. Evenly place wings on a wire rack and chill in the fridge for at least 8 hours.[8h]
  5. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  6. Boil hot water. Take wings out of fridge and briefly blanch, just enough to tighten the skin. Allow excess moisture to evaporate for at least 5 minutes.[8m]
  7. Place wings on the midrack and bake for 20 minutes, or until noticeable browning. Flip wings over and bake for another 15 miutes or until throughly browned.[35m]
  8. Bring a saucier to medium high heat. Melt better and incorporate buffalo sauce until simmering.[5m]
  9. Immediately coat wings with preferred amount. Enjoy!
